North Platte Giving Day is a 24-hour fundraising event on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. You can specify which participating local nonprofits to help and how much to give. You can give online or by dropping off a check at a Giving Site. By donating on Giving Day, you can help your favorite nonprofit win cash prizes and earn matching funds!

North Platte Giving is hosted By Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation
Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation serves charitable people and supports worthy causes as an IRS-qualified 501(c)(3) public charitable organization. We were established to build charitable resources to benefit the people of the North Platte area, primarily Lincoln County and eleven nearby counties in Nebraska.
The Community Foundation has grown steadily since its founding in 1978. We now administer about 350 charitable and scholarship funds. Each fund has its own charitable purpose and specifications, typically established by the original donor(s). Well over $2 million is paid out each year from these funds for scholarships and for grants to worthy causes.
